Fall is perhaps my most favorite season in Carlton Landing, and maybe it’s because it was the first time we ever came to visit. The mornings had the perfect amount of fall chill in the air and the afternoons were sunny and bright. I get asked all the time about what there is to do in the fall around Lake Eufaula, and so I’ve compiled this handy dandy list of some ideas to get you started. Add to the list in the comments!
OUTDOOR FUN
Our personal favorite year after year is the pumpkin patch that was previously located at Arrowhead Stables. Take note! It has moved this year to the Lake Eufaula Stables. The family that runs it always has creative and fun events for the whole family, and activities are appropriate for all ages (read: non-scary fall fun). Our boys enjoy the barn animals and pony rides, as well as mining for gold, hay bale obstacle courses, and tire swings. Don’t miss it! Oh, and for the older kiddos, I’ve heard rumors of a Sasquatch Sightings Hayride…
Livesay Orchards also does a pumpkin patch in addition to apple picking. Come back in the summer for the peach pickin’!
